moisture. The water-blocking compound shall be compatible with all other

of the fiber. It shall be easily removable from the fiber by wiping.

Electrolytic chrome coated corrugated
steel tape with a longitudinal overlap, coated with polyethylene / co-polymer
on both sides for crush, impact; rodent and general protection shall be
applied throughout the cable core. The thickness of electrolytic chrome
coated steel tape shall be
0.15 mm
(min) and polyethylene / co-polymer coating on each side shall be
0.05 mm
. This barrier shall be applied
with sufficient overlay to ensure that it provides complete cover at the
minimum bending radius of the cable as mentioned in mechanical
characteristics. A suitable water blocking tape shall be applied
under the steel tape to prevent ingress of water.
The corrugated steel tape shall be sealed and bonded
to the inner surface of the polyethylene sheath extended over it. The tape
shall be electrically continuous throughout the length.
采用纵包涂塑电镀皱纹钢带挡潮,以防冲击, 挤压或动物嚼咬等。钢带的厚度应为0.15mm,聚乙烯/聚丙烯的厚度应为0.05 mm, 总厚度为0.25mm, 搭接宽度应能保证以最弯曲半径弯曲光缆时仍能包裹缆芯, 钢带下面应有阻水带.

Geometrical, Optical & Transmission Characteristics

Tests on the finished cables shall be made to prove compliance with
all requirements of this specification. The Bidder shall submit full details of quality
assurance procedures, which shall ensure that the cable fully comply with the
requirements of the specification. The Bidder shall guarantee that the
materials used for production of the fibers and coating shall be of the same
origin for all cables. Combination of fibers and coating from different
manufacturers/suppliers is not acceptable.
